Fire detection and fire alarm handling as well as emergency call out can all be automated for improved security and efficiency. Fast response time that is normally only about five seconds. Multiple system monitoring is available with one-unit monitoring of up to six separate fire alarm systems at one site.

Mobitex enables the implementation of wireless intruder alarms and access control. Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is another area where a wireless system is an advantage, since there is no wire to cut.
