Mobitex Technology offers training on all aspects of the Mobitex system for all categories of administrative and technical personnel. A wide variety of courses are available. Training can also be customized to meet specific requirements.
Mobitex System Overview
The Mobitex System Overview provides an overall description of the Mobitex system. After completing this course participants will have a general understanding of the Mobitex system and its applications.
Network Installation and Maintenance
The course provides a detailed description of the network nodes and included hardware components. The course is intended for field engineers who will be involved in installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of Mobitex network nodes. The course covers Mobitex System Releases R14E, R14N and NTE. After completing the course participants will be able to understand the hardware down to board level and be able to install, commission, operate and maintain the network nodes.
NCC Operation & Maintenance
The course provides the knowledge and skills necessary for operating the network using Mobitex NTE NCC Operation & Maintenance tools. After completing the course, participants will be able to operate and maintain the entire network from the network control centre (NCC).
NCC Subscription Management
The course provides an understanding of how to administer and process subscriptions in a Mobitex NTE network. The tool on which the course is based is Mobitex Technology's SAM subscription management tool. After completing the course, participants will be able to administer customer subscriptions, to handle invoicing procedures and to use the SAM database to support operations and maintenance personnel in troubleshooting.
NTE Seminar
This seminar has been specially designed to provide an understanding of the third-generation Mobitex System Release called NTE. After completing the course, participants will have an understanding of new functionality in System Release NTE compared with R14 System releases. Together with Mobitex R14 Training, this seminar provides the necessary entry requirements for continued NTE training.
Mobitex Cell Planning Principles
This course has been specially designed to give students a general understanding of cell planning principle as applicable to MRS6000 Mobitex networks. The course is suitable for 400 MHz, 800 MHz and 900 MHz networks. After completing the course, participants will have an understanding of cell planning principles and can relate them to the practical behavior and performance of the network.
Mobitex Application Design and Development
The course provides an overview of the protocols used in Mobitex. Issues relating to Mobitex application design are also discussed. After completing the course, students will be able to correctly design and develop applications for Mobitex and have knowledge of the methods of connecting to Mobitex networks and how to use Mobitex packets (MPAKs).
