Mobilink is a subsidiary to Interexport and bought the Mobitex business from Telefonica in 2002. Mobilink is situated in Santiago and their Mobitex network, which was installed in 1994, covers the entire city. The system operates on 900 MHz frequency bands and is used for field service, fleet management and the police service.
