In 2003, a decade after the initial launch of the Luxemburg/Belgian Mobitex network, RAM Mobile Data Belgium was taken over by RAM Mobile Data Netherlands B.V. After having already been responsible for the network operation for years, RAM Mobile Data Netherlands together with its subsidiary RAM Mobile Data Belgium started offering coverage in the entire Benelux region. The system today operates on the 410-430 MHz frequency band.
