Real Telecom was established in Seoul in 1996. They have one of the largest Mobitex networks in the world with about 270 base stations. The Mobitex network has existed in Korea since 1998. The operator is using the network for wireless email & Internet access, stock trading and network games as well as public transport, AVL, POS and e-commerce.

Real Telecom operates on the 900 MHz frequency band and covers Seoul, Inchon, Kyunggi as well as other major cities, medium cities and major provinces.
